In accordance with and Board Policy 1106 Public Comment on Undergraduate Tuition and Mandatory Fee Increases, 51情报站 is asking the Board of Visitors to consider a tuition increase for undergraduate and graduate students ranging between 0 to 3 percent, effective summer semester. In addition, an increase of non-educational and general fees ranging between 0 to 3 percent will be considered for all students. These increases reflect the continued commitment to affordability at Old Dominion, which remains the most affordable public doctoral institution in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The additional tuition and fee revenue will be used to retain and attract faculty, invest in STEM-H degree production, provide student financial assistance, maintain the operation of facilities, enhance the technology infrastructure, and fund mandated compensation increases and board-approved capital investments in auxiliary fee-supported operations.

The projected semester increase for students could range between $0-$330 for full-time in-state students and between $0-$900 for out-of-state students.

In order to share comments on the options the Board of Visitors will consider for the 2021-2022 academic year, individuals may email the Board's student representative, Bridget Groble, at StudentBOVRep@odu.edu.
