Students review and analyze the concepts and interrelationships underlying cybersecurity compliance methodologies, including the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF); Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP); NIST 800-171; CMMC; NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF); and NIST 800-53. Students develop competencies to utilize NIST RMF Steps 1-3/FedRAMP Steps 1-2.

Computer Systems Analysts
Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
Database Administrators
Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Coordinate changes to computer databases. May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.

Evaluate network system security by conducting simulated internal and external cyberattacks using adversary tools and techniques. Attempt to breach and exploit critical systems and gain access to sensitive information to assess system security.

Requirements
All applicants admitted to the certificate program must meet 51Ç鱨վ requirements for graduate admission: an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally-accredited institution or an equivalent degree from a foreign institution. Those whose native language is not English must submit a minimum score of 230 on the computer-based TOEFL or 80 on the TOEFL iBT. Â
