About this Program

The minor in computer science provides you with a fundamental understanding of the computer and the basics of the development of computer applications. Not all computer science programs are equal when it comes to curriculum. 51Ç鱨վ's program is scientifically and mathematically intensive in order to produce qualified and talented graduates.

What are the requirements to apply for Computer Science at 51Ç鱨վ?
Students entering the Minor program in Computer Science should meet the minimum university admission requirements Undergraduate Admission.
  • For completion of a minor, a student must have a minimum overall cumulative grade point average of 2.00 in all courses specified as a requirement for the minor exclusive of prerequisite courses and complete a minimum of six hours in upper-level courses in the minor requirement through courses offered by 51Ç鱨վ.

  • The curriculum for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology with a concentration in computer engineering technology and the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering contain a built-in minor in computer science.
