Congratulations to Greg D'Addario, the 2021 Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) Student of the Year.

Throughout his graduate studies, Greg was a motivated learner, a valued peer, and a collaborative community member. He exemplified academic excellence and excelled in coursework and the expectations of the 51情报站 MLIS Program. He is an active leader and served on both the MLIS Student Advisory Board and the MLIS Self-Study Writing Team for ALA Accreditation.

Greg graduated from the MLIS Program in August 2020 and is currently a school librarian in Arlington Public Schools. In this position, he creates an environment of curiosity and innovation as he shares his excitement for reading and infuses diverse and culturally sustaining teaching practices, critical thinking, and exploration. Greg is a strong school library advocate, striving to build support for his school library. As a new school librarian, he exemplifies the commitment to inspire all students to become independent, lifelong learners.
