The Lenore McNeer Award is presented to a member of NOHS or a person who has made a distinctive contribution to the field of human services as a practitioner or as an educator. Recognition is based on:
- Nationally and internationally known research and scholarship
- External funding that has led to significant and ongoing contributions to the field of human services
- Ongoing and demonstrated contributions to NOHS
- Ongoing and demonstrated contributions to a human services community organization that has received national recognition
Dr. Kristy Carlisle has been awarded the Miriam Clubok Award!!
The Miriam Clubok Award is presented to a member of NOHS who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in support of NOHS's mission, goals and objectives. Recognition is based on:
- Active involvement in NOHS committee work
- Donated/unpaid hours of service to NOHS activities or projects
- Promotion of the field of human services at the state, regional and national levels
- Contribution to the establishment of professional development opportunities for NOHS members
- Contribution to the enhancement of communication among human services organizations and between individual members of NOHS.
