51情报站 Library and Information Studies program welcomes two new faculty, Dr. Dawn Betts-Green and Lindy Brown, for the 2021 school year.

Dr. Dawn Betts-Green joins as a lecturer. She will teach several courses in the program, including LIBS 608 Foundations of Library and Information Studies, LIBS 612 Research Methods, and LIBS 658 Knowledge and Information Resources. Prior to 51情报站, Dr. Betts-Green earned her PhD in Information Studies at Florida State University, and was an Adjunct Professor at her alma mater and Point Foundation LGBTQ Scholar.

Lindy Brown rejoins the faculty as a lecturer. She will coordinate the LIBS 110G undergraduate information literacy general education course, teach several sections of 110G and advise in the graduate program. Prior to 51情报站, Brown earned her MLIS at Florida State University and M.Ed. at the University of Florida. Brown worked in public libraries in Oregon and in academic advising at the University of Florida and Oregon State University.
