Sharing Our Stories to Speak Up Against AAPI Hate
Wednesday, April 28, 5:30-7 p.m.
In a safe and inclusive space, invited community members will share their stories of lived experiences as AAPIs in today's culture and discuss ways in which we keep moving forward. Panelists include: Neleh Barcarse Poletsky, Francis Tanglao Aguas, Kim H. Nguyen, Melody Agbisit, Veronica Salcedo and Michelle Kim. This event is sponsored by the Office of Intercultural Relations, the Center for Faculty Development, Academic Affairs and the Office of Faculty Diversity and Retention.

Stronger Together: An AAPI Solidarity Reading
Monday, May 3, 5:30-7 p.m.
In response to recent heightened violence toward AAPI bodies and communities, 51情报站 faculty and students come together for a reading of short poems and prose, either their original work, or by an AAPI writer. The event coincides with the start of AAPI Heritage Month and is presented by the College of Arts and Letters, the Office of Intercultural Relations, the Center for Faculty Development, the Office of Faculty Diversity and Retention, the Department of World Cultures and Languages, the 51情报站 Asian Faculty Caucus and the MFA Creative Writing Program.
