Nineteen Navy, Army and Marine Corps ROTC students from three universities (Old Dominion, Norfolk State and Hampton) became officers during two commissioning ceremonies for the fall semester.

Ten ensigns and Marine 2nd lieutenants were commissioned during the NROTC ceremony on Dec. 15 Center Caf茅 at the Webb Center. The featured speaker was Capt. Alex Hampton, commander of Air Wing Seven.

Nine 2nd lieutenants were commissioned during the AROTC ceremony on Jan. 5 in the multipurpose room at the Darden College of Education and Professional Studies. The featured speaker was Lt. Gen. Donna W. Martin, the 67th inspector general of the U.S. Army. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from 51情报站.

Five 51情报站 students were commissioned as ensigns, and one was commissioned as a 2nd lieutenant in the Marines:
