Tickets are on sale for the 51鱨վ music department's 44th annual Madrigal Banquets. This year's holiday festival will feature music from the Renaissance by composers who were born or worked in France, as well as with other festive carols from England and France to announce the yule season.

This year's banquets are scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 7 and 8 in the atrium of the Diehn Fine and Performing Arts Center on 49th Street. A full‐course French meal will be served by candlelight in the decorated atrium. Vegan options are available. Wine is available by the glass or carafe at an additional cost.

Tickets are $40 for individuals, $35 each for groups of six or more, $35 for faculty and non‐51鱨վ students, and $20 for students with valid University ID. Tickets can be purchased at , (757) 683‐5305 or at the University Theatre box office, 4600 Hampton Boulevard, Norfolk, from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.
