Todd Johnson
Vice President for Administration and Finance Greg DuBois is leaving 51情报站 to accept a similar role at Florida Atlantic University later this fall and will be replaced on an interim basis by Todd Johnson, the University's assistant vice president for auxiliary services.
51情报站 President Brian O. Hemphill, Ph.D., announced the changes Tuesday.
DuBois has worked at 51情报站 for four years. The move to Florida will allow him to spend more time with his family.
"Greg has provided exemplary leadership in the daily operation and long-range planning of the campus and all functional areas under Administration and Finance," President Hemphill wrote in an email to faculty and staff. "He was instrumental in securing additional state support for operations and facilities, which have positioned our institution for greater levels of outreach, service and success for many years to come. He skillfully led the institution's COVID-19 planning and response efforts. Without question, our campus and this community have greatly benefited from Greg's engagement and expertise."
Johnson assumed his current role at 51情报站 in 2009. He has more than 40 years of experience in higher education and has held many leadership positions directly related to financial management and student support.
"His prior experience at a myriad of institutions, such as East Carolina University; North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University; University of Maryland, College Park; and Pennsylvania State University, has prepared him to take on this important role," President Hemphill wrote.
A national search will be conducted to find a permanent replacement. Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Austin Agho will lead the search committee, which is composed of representatives from campus constituent groups. The search will occur throughout the fall with a permanent replacement on board at the start of the spring 2022 semester following campus visits by finalists in late November.
