Florida鈥檚 Lisanne Lyons, an accomplished and acclaimed jazz vocalist with strong ties to Virginia, visited 51情报站 in April for a set of clinics and performances.

A winner of multiple awards from Down Beat magazine, the director of jazz vocal studies at Florida International University is known for what one critic described as 鈥渟parkling, scintillating jazz singing.鈥

These images were taken during an April 11 master class with 51情报站 students.

In addition to leading workshops and performing with 51情报站鈥檚 Jazz Choir, the Jazz Combo and the Jazz Orchestra, Lyons played a concert with the John Toomey Trio on Monday, April 15.
