Dr. Landman has over 35 years of experience in engineering and engineering education and currently serves at the Graduate Program Director for MAE. He spent 13 years as chief engineer at the 51Ç鱨վ/NASA Langley Full Scale Wind Tunnel where he conducted aerodynamic testing on ground and flight vehicles, designed, built, and calibrated force measurement instrumentation. Dr. Landman has developed statistical engineering test techniques for aerospace ground testing and has taught short courses in statistical engineering for over 20 years to the DOD, IDA, NASA, AIAA and industry. Recent areas of interest include propeller and tilt-rotor testing for UAS. Dr. Landman has graduated over 40 Masters and 10 PhD students who are now employed in industry and government labs. He co-authored the text: "Wind Tunnel Test Techniques," with Dr. Colin Britcher (Elsevier, 2023)
