Dr. Wiles has been with the School of Nursing since 1995 and currently holds the rank of Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Undergraduate Nursing Education. She teaches adult health, pharmacology, informatics, and role transition preceptorship courses in the BSN program and mentors MSN and DNP students.

Dr. Wiles is an 51情报站 University Professor, a distinction awarded for sustained teaching excellence at the undergraduate level. Her scholarship focuses on clinical judgment and decision making; improved clinical outcomes; and nursing education modalities. She maintains her clinical practice and specialty certification by working as a staff nurse in a local emergency department.
