The 51情报站 ASCE Student Chapter was recently selected by the Committee on Student Members to receive a Letter of Honorable Mention for its outstanding activities as recorded in the 2020 Chapter annual report. This recognition is only received by the top third of all Student Organizations. The Chapter's accomplishments reflect the enthusiasm and hard work of ASCE student officers and members, as well as Dr. Gary Schafran's guidance as their faculty advisor.

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department recognizes Dr. Schafran, the practitioner advisors, and ASCE Student Chapter for their time and effort to enhance the future of civil engineering.
