Paige Angelus, a mechanical engineering major with a concentration in aerospace engineering, was recently awarded the Dr. Frankie Gale Moore Endowed Scholarship.

The scholarship targets female undergraduates in engineering with an interest in aerospace and a GPA of 3.0 or better.

Outside of the classroom, Angelus is an avid surfer and a member of the 51情报站 lacrosse team.

Angelus, who graduates in May of 2022, has spent this semester focused on her senior design project.

"A few peers and I are developing a geometry variable propeller for flight on Mars," she explained. "It is similar to Ingenuity, the helicopter that NASA sent to Mars earlier this year."
