Representatives from Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, will host events throughout the day for you to learn about job opportunities including internships, co-ops, and full-time positions! Opportunities are available for U.S. citizens only and students from the Batten College of Engineering and Technology and Strome College of Business are preferred interview candidates. Visit representatives in the Engineering Systems Building, Constant Hall, and North & Central Café of Webb Center to learn about job opportunities, ask questions, share your resume, and/or have an opportunity to take part in an on-site interview. You are welcome to stop by at any time during the day for this exclusive opportunity to get first-hand information and 1:1 time with Newport News Shipbuilding.

An overview of the activities for the day is listed below:

Location: Engineering Systems Building Atrium 

Network with Dean Jeffrey Fergus, Newport News Shipbuilding representatives, and faculty. Refreshments will be provided.

Location: North & Central Café, Webb Center

Network with interim Dean Erika Marsillac, Newport News Shipbuilding representatives, and faculty. Refreshments will be provided.

Location: North & Central Café, Webb Center

Network with NNS representatives and participate in 1:1 interviews. From 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., there will be a presentation about job opportunities and the online application process. Lunch will be provided.

Location: Center for Career & Leadership Development, 2202 Webb Center 

Drop-in to have your resume reviewed by Center for Career & Leadership Development career coaching staff as well as representatives from Newport News Shipbuilding.
