MIDAS Affiliate Management

Different groups of people need access to University services, from students and employees who use certain systems every day, to guests who simply need to get access to campus WiFi.

Employees and students have records in Banner, 51情报站's academic and administrative records system, and are by far the most common types of account users. However, there are guests and affiliates of 51情报站 who do not have a Banner record who need to access services, either temporarily or for longer periods of time. MIDAS has the capability to create accounts that do not exist in Banner for special event guests, summer camps or vendors, for example.

The following types of accounts are issued by MIDAS:

Employees & Students

Students and Employees of the University who not only have a basic record in Banner, but are also listed as active employees or students. These users have UINs.
