The 51Ç鱨վ Libraries are celebrating Women's History Month with exhibits in the Perry Library and the Hofheimer Art Library.
This year's national theme is "Weaving the Stories of Women's Lives." Perry Library takes this opportunity to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 51Ç鱨վ Women's Caucus, a group that was formed based on the stories and experiences of women on campus in the 1960s and 1970s. Through materials from the University Archives, the exhibit showcases the early years of the Caucus and the issues they continue to address in building a woman-friendly campus.
Also in Perry Library is a book display featuring women faculty authors and other books about women's issues.
The Hofheimer Art Library in the Barry Arts Building continues their exhibit which features four contemporary African-American Women Artists: Kara Walker, Betye Saar, Alison Saar and Lorna Simpson. This display will be available from February - May.
