F. Ludwig Diehn Scholarships:

Annual Scholarships totaling $105,000 are available for instrumentalists and vocalists performing in the following ensembles: Wind Ensemble, University Choir, Madrigal Singers, Jazz Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, and Brass Choir. All awards are given in memory of the late composer F. Ludwig Diehn.

Kern Scholar:

Awarded annually to the instrumentalist or vocalist with the highest grade point average in the department.

Dr. Charles Vogan Scholarship:

A competitive, annual scholarship awarded to keyboard or composition majors, given in memory of Dr. Charles Vogan, former Professor of Organ and Department Chair.

John C. Stamos Scholarships:

Given in memory of John C. Stamos, these competitive scholarships are awarded to vocalists each year through an audition held in the spring.

Elliott Breneiser Award:

A competitive scholarship for pianists honoring Professor Elliott Breneiser.

Claire Cucchiari-Loring Memorial Scholarship:

Annual scholarship awarded to a member of the 51情报站 Jazz Choir in memory of Claire Cucchiari-Loring.

Monarch Marching Band Scholarship:

This scholarship fund totals approximately $150,000; individual scholarships are awarded to select incoming freshman students based on audition and instrumentation needs. These scholarships are renewable to students continuing in the program based on performance, leadership and service.

Ensemble Scholarships:

Annual scholarships totaling in excess of $50,000 are available for instrumentalists and vocalists performing in the following ensembles: Wind Ensemble, University Choir, Madrigal Singers, Jazz Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, Brass Choir, and Opera Theatre.

Russell Stanger String Quartet Competition:

While F. Ludwig Diehn School of Music scholarship consideration is extended to all who audition, at any time, offers to incoming, new students are typically made by the end of March.
