Welcome to the Undergraduate Program in International Studies' website. The Undergraduate program in International Studies or Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (BAIS) is an interdisciplinary program that offers students a chance to explore the interrelations among nations and peoples and to study world affairs from a variety of perspectives. Foreign language, geography, history, and political science form the core of international studies at 51情报站. Our faculty, housed in academic departments throughout the college and university, are engaged in research and education across the globe. They are eager to nourish your interest in international issues and to debate issues of current international relevance and concern.
Here on our website you will find information on the undergraduate major and minor, and, in addition, information on the accelerated program that allows qualified undergraduate majors to continue on to earn a BAIS / MAIS degree in five years. You will also find links and information to exciting programs available to undergraduate majors and minors. The program works closely with the Office of Study Abroad, the Model UN and other model international organizations on campus. Credits earned through these programs can be used toward the undergraduate major or minor.
Students who pursue international studies degrees go on to careers in government and non-governmental organizations, the military, and international business. They pursue higher education in law, political science, international studies, area studies, history, and business.
Whether you are a prospective student or returning alumnus, I hope you find the website helpful. I look forward to working with you in our international studies program.

Program Director
