Support Physics

51情报站 Physics Standing Wave

The Physics Department at 51情报站 is at the fore-front of cutting-edge research and teaching, and is committed to public outreach. The education and training that our students, undergraduate and graduate alike, receive open doors to future careers both within and outside of physics. Our community events help to educate all ages about science and the importance of science in society. Your support helps us to carry out our mission and has an impact on the lives of students and faculty, as well as the campus and local community.

Whether an alumni, parent, faculty, staff, or friend, please consider a gift to the聽Monarch Physics Fund. This fund is used in support of teaching, research, and public service. Gifts of all sizes are very much appreciated and are used to help fund undergraduate research, enable students to attend conferences to present their research results, purchase a critical piece of research equipment, acquire innovative teaching technology, recognize student academic achievement, and more. Thank you for your generosity and your investment in the 51情报站 Physics Department.

Physics Department Undergraduate Research Program Awards

The Physics Department has a goal of raising $10,000 in 2020 to support our undergraduate physics majors who register for the first time in one of our Physics Undergraduate Research Program courses. This support will help us to increase participation in our new program, especially at the Freshman and Sophomore levels and to introduce our students to a research experience for the first time. The donated funds will be used for Physics Undergraduate Student Research Awards, with 100% of each award being used for tuition relief and student travel to present their research at national, regional, or state conferences. Please help us give our undergraduate physics students a high-quality research experience. Please list Physics Undergraduate Research Awards in the Scholarship Box and the Monarch Physics Fund, on the Physics donations page.

Thank you,

- Physics Undergraduate Committee
